When did you have this workshop? Sayang.... It would have been nice to be there.... I miss Merlie Alunan's lectures; Vic Sugbo was my grade school classmate but I haven't seen/heard him up-close as a poet; Dave Genotiva came two years after me as ed-in-chief of our hi school paper and is the brother a dear friend; plus, it would have been an excuse for me to visit the old hometown.... I haven't been really updating myself on the national literary scene, so I miss out on workshop offerings this last couple of years. Besides, I have started feeling 'not so young' anymore for them.... but even us 'senior' writers need the upgrades and the adrenaline that these workshops infuse. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures!
hi, can't help but notice... About Merly Alunan and Resil Mojares's lecture on Sept., can you give me some details on that? I'm interested. They're two of my favorite poets. Thx!
Wow! nice pics. I submitted my application in 2005. Kaya lang, di raw puwede kasi it's exclusive only for Visayans. Sayang! I'm from Manila kasi. Will they open the fellowships to Luzon or NCR too? :)
I'm not sure if they accept applications from outside the Visayas. As far as i know, they prioritize manuscripts in Waray and Cebuano or waray literature in english.
